I am new to bolt and tried both of them.
I put the same prompt. Seems like that bolt.new create beautiful ui automatically and the code generated better.
Are there anything I missed in setting/prompt or anyone have a boilerplate prompt?

which provider and model did you use for bolt.diy?
Bolt.new uses Claude 3.5 with some extra things under the hood. Basically the best one for coding…
Bolt.new uses Boilerplates / Templates they´ve fixed in their offer and this comes not directly from the AI. It starts with a basic project then.
So to compare / get better results, try to do a prompt “Initialize a basic react + tailwind app”. Then go on with your prompt.
Can you share prompt and result
We will get to tuning prompts and adding templates in future to make it work on par.
M prompt start with “Create an app for me.” and I added development doc for my project generate from chatgpt4o.
I also tried started with “Create an app for me with a beautiful, production-ready design using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS” No big difference.
Result in css not working. I solved by following this:
Looking forward to the prompts and templates! Should really help and attract people especially non-coder to start and join.
Totally agree, can’t figure out what am I doing wrong because my results (when they do show up) on Bolt.diy vs Bolt.new are drastically different (GPT4o and Claude 3.5)
Is there a thread with better system prompting that I should be doing?
Packages to install or templates coming that will probably help?
Hi @mp23,
you cant get the same results, as they have a different features stack and bolt.new has a lot of commercial features like their own templates they start with, to get the projects up and running fast and nice.
This is something what is missing in bolt.diy at the moment.
