Searxng integration with local AI starter kit

I noticed in one of Cole’s videos recently that he was using the Brave search API and Pydantic to create an advanced search agent (sorry, watched a few and can’t recall which it was)

I am thinking of doing something similar with the local starter kit, but instead of using external API’s using searxng - having the search engine API hosted in-house would increase privacy and reduce costs,

Has anyone done something like this? It would be great if there were some videos I’d missed (he says crossing his fingers lol :joy: )

I am actually planning on adding Searxng into the local AI starter kit! I know one person who has but he hasn’t made content on it or anything, he is just including it in his stack that he is using to help businesses get up and running with local AI.

I used the Brave API in my past videos just because it’s simple to set up, but Searxng is certainly ideal for a local AI stack. Wish I could say I have it ready now but I’m definitely going to make it happen in the near future!
