No Setup Required! Batteries not Included!
What’s the TL;DR?
TL;DR; If you want to just use the latest Ottodev version without the hassle of setup, then this will be of interest to you. Visit: https://ottodev.cyopsys.com/
The Details:
I’ve set up an auto-updating Cloudflare Page that gets updated automatically every day at midnight (UTC) with the latest changes from the project’s main branch. This means you can always access the latest version of the project, instantly, without having to worry about manual updates, needing to setup or issues.
I’m using the “coleam00/bolt.new-any-llm” sister repo as it seems to be more up to date (hours, not days). As a note, only a successful build will be pushed, so the page should continue from the last working version (in case there’s a breaking change).
No setup required!
While the project is open source with an MIT license (so you’re free to deploy it yourself if you wish), this Cloudflare Page is perfect for those who just want to try it out right away, or simply use the latest version without deploying it yourself. Just visit the page, and you’re good to go!
Batteries not included!
Just a heads-up: This page doesn’t come with API keys set up for external services (because, well, security, privacy and cost!). Instead, I’ve included dummy API keys so that the page loads correctly when you try it out, but you’ll need to plug in your own API keys if you want to fully unlock the functionality.
Why is this awesome?
- Instant Access: You can check out the latest version of Ottodev right away without setting anything up.
- Auto Updates: The page updates daily, so you’re always seeing the newest version without having to lift a finger (can maybe also help with testing).
- No Setup, No Hassle: If you’re not into setting things up or just want a quick look at the latest features, this is for you.
- Open Source, MIT License: The project is MIT-licensed, so you’re free to deploy it on your own, but this page makes it easy for anyone to access without the extra steps.
Who Is This Not For?
This isn’t for those who want to make custom changes to the project directly. If you’re looking to personalize or tweak things to your exact needs, you’ll need to download and deploy your own copy. Luckily, it’s fully MIT-licensed, so feel free to fork it, make it your own, and have some fun!
Final Thoughts:
The only changes I made was remove the “.tool-versions” because it breaks the auto-build in Cloudflare, modified the .gitignore, added a worker in “~/.github/workflows/sync.yml”, and set everything up to run automatically.
And hey, if you make any cool improvements, add new features, or come up with great ideas, please contribute them back to the main branch! Let’s keep the project growing and evolving together.
Any feedback is welcomed!
Good hunting, and enjoy!
