Losing Projects & Updates in Webcontainer

I’m having issues losing my projects in the webcontainer. Many times I fire up bolt.diy and there are no projects.

Also, when I start my day and fire up Bolt.diy and go to project I was working on the day before, all changes to any page that was done the day before are not there. They revert back to when the project was created.

So I end up saving the project to my local drive multiple times a day. Then more times than not, I have to import the saved project the next day because it’s no longer there.

Any ideas what is going on? I’m not on a slow machine and I have 32gb ram.

Hey,
the projects are just stored in browser cache. Any plugins or settings that prevent it from session cache etc.?
If you clean your cache, they are gone! Same fore Incognito mode or if you use brave with specific settings I guess.

Thank you. That makes sense. I’ve stopped the clear on exit for the browser. That’s probably what’s been happening.

I’ve been using Canary Chrome. Could that be the problem?

Dont know what canary does by default (if it clears the cache)

You just need to make sure your Cache is not cleared when closing the browser.
Just use normal Chrome. Works fine. No need for Canary.
