Hey guys I just got vps hosting with hostinger and now I could use help loading and setting up the local ai package within my vps hosting I am a complete newbie and could use help getting it all set up thank you in advance if I could set a time with someone over zoom to walk me through the process that would be amazing.
Hi. Although it is a bit intimidating for newbies, it’s a straightforward procedure, and one you must learn about as it does involve some work and some decisions that are specific to your project.
I suggest you open your favorite AI – I would use either Claude or Gemini 2.5 for this – and tell it what files you have and exactly what you want to accomplish: upload it to a VPS Linux server on Hostinger.
If you send the AI a screenshot of your working folder, or tell it what tech stack you used (Python, React, JS, anything combination of that and others) it will tell you how to proceed.
If you intend to develop more apps, it would be helpful to learn how Docker works and start developing inside a Docker container. That will be immediately portable to any other system.
Go step by step and you will get a lot from learning that, as it will also help you understand what you can / cannot do with SaaS and web aps.
There are some YouTube tutorials on it as well.
