Installing bolt.new Ottomator using Pinokio

To install and run Bolt.new using Pinokio, follow these steps:

  1. Download and Install Pinokio:

    • Visit the Pinokio website and download the installer compatible with your operating system.
    • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  2. Launch Pinokio:

    • After installation, open the Pinokio application.
  3. Access the Discover Page:

    • In Pinokio, navigate to the ‘Discover’ section to browse available applications.
  4. Find and Download Bolt.new:

    • Search for ‘Bolt.new’ in the Discover page.
    • Click on the Bolt.new icon to view its details.
    • Click the ‘Download’ button.
    • Choose a folder name or use the default, then click ‘Download’ to initiate the download.
  5. Install Bolt.new:

    • Once the download is complete, Bolt.new will appear on the main page of Pinokio.
    • Select Bolt.new and click the ‘Install’ button.
    • Pinokio will handle the installation process automatically.
  6. Launch Bolt.new:

    • After installation, click the ‘Launch’ button to start Bolt.new.
    • Bolt.new will open in your default web browser, ready for use.

Hint: Pinocio does at the moment not use the stable branch as it should and this can cause problems for some users.

Could you maybe also ask them to add bolt.diy as an app, since I see they already provided one for bolt.new (to prevent future issues)?

You can open an issue/feature request on your own. Cause I dont use it / will test it, I dont want to open such an ticket :wink:

just delete and download again from the Discover page
