I just want to say THANK YOU Cole!

I have real estate holdings and STR’s that are a real chore to track so I dove right into this AI at first opportunity and your videos have been critical to my education. I endeavored to get a local supabase running and damn…I mean damn…I am not a super programmer but fairly proficient and very dogged and it kicked my butt for several evenings. I found you had updated local ai stack with supabase on :github and started over with it and I could not believe how everything just suddenly worked and connected. I did build out a new 4TB Ubuntu setup to get away from all the windows issues I think was compounding matters but scripting supabase to start was brilliant. I have one last issue I am wondering if anyone else has come across with realtime throwing continuous 403 errors on the healthcheck and I can’t seem to get it sorted. It’s taking care of my n8n workflows and other things but I have not been able to get it to connect.

Anyway…major thanks and looking forward to what you have coming up.
Best Regards, John

Thanks so much John, I’m really glad my channel has been a great resource for you. Especially for Supabase, I know last year when I attempted it for the first time it didn’t go so well, so I know the pain!

For this 403 error, I’d check if you set everything for the JWT, secret key, and anonymous key. Try regenerating them too!

I hammered at it for quite a while the other evening and with it just being a call for the logger and since I use Portainer which for whatever reason logs perfectly I just axed it and everything is going quite well.

I do have a bit of an issue with getting things pointed to the right place. Take using a postgres tool in n8n I tried a number of things so far, and will get after it this evening, I would think it should be supabase-kong:8000 but that and several other variations including the ip simply did not work.

Anyway it was still brilliant bit of work there and still got me miles past the standard install op process I started off with from the supabase site, I had to grind through every container inch by inch.

Anyone have insight on this internal addressing would be greatly appreciated though as there is a lot going on here and figuring what connects and in what order is a bit murky.
