Help me! I can't create any website.

I have already used several types of models with O1- Preview, Qwen 2.5 Coder 32B and others to try to generate a website but I was unable to generate a website like the paid bolt.new does. I have already tried using a simpler prompt up to a more advanced one but unfortunately I did not get results only in the paid Bolt.new.

I had a similar experience but granted I haven’t spent loads of time in oTToDev to test enough. I shared my experience here: Bolt.new <> oTToDev Comparison - #10 by wonderwhy.er

I believe Bolt.new uses the powerful Claude 3.5 Sonnet (Claude 3.5 Sonnet \ Anthropic) so comparisons should really be made with that model in oTToDev.

I’m thinking of making some comparison videos over time as I currently spend a lot of time (and tokens) in the commercial version

I’m trying to make a website on bolt.new locally because my resources are limited and it’s a shame that it doesn’t work that well yet.

There seems to be a lot of interest in this project so give it a little time and help wherever possible. I can imagine this could take off and become at least as good if not better than the commercial version

You might just have to use the claude 3.5 v2 (self-moderated) model from open router. It looks like a lot of the prompting logic in Bolt is tailored for that model

yes… the bolt.new uses starter templates to kick the project, instead of starting from scratch with no files.

so its not about using better llm, just the option to be able to intelligently select a proper starter template based on user’s request.

that need to be added into the bolt.diy system. We will be adding similar stuff once we have a starter project list ready.
