Hi team,

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Bolt.diy and wanted to share some ideas for potential enhancements that could improve workflow and expand its capabilities.

Proposed Features:

  • AI Agent Integration

    1. Add the ability to introduce agents into projects (e.g., project manager, developer, creative roles).
    2. Allow agents to interact within the project, leveraging Bolt’s built-in tools such as screenshot sharing and design feedback.

  • Agent Access and Hierarchy

    1. Implement a node-based system for agents to define tool access and establish hierarchies.
    2. Assign tools or permissions to specific agents based on roles.

  • Auto Agent Creation

    1. Introduce templates for agent creation, allowing users to quickly deploy predefined agent setups.
    2. Include a “manager mode” where users can describe their project, and the system suggests optimal agent configurations with tailored system prompts.

  • System Prompt Integration

    1. Enable a system prompt as a persistent preface to the main prompt, ensuring consistent guidance across interactions.

  • MD Progress Tracking

    1. Automatically generate markdown files to track progress with checkboxes, phases, and checkpoints.
    2. Allow phase-based splitting of work (e.g., no more than 8 files per phase) for better organization.

  • Improved Tooling for Screenshot Feedback

    1. Expand the screenshot sharing functionality to facilitate design reviews and automatically integrate changes back into the main chat.

Bug Fixes:

  • Shell Command Issues

    1. Shell commands occasionally fail to delete all the files intended during refactor operations.

  • Refactor Import Statements

    1. Import statements often face issues post-refactoring, causing disruptions.

thanks for this amazing post/ideas. Some of it is already on the roadmap:

I think the roadmap will extended within the next few weeks and interally discussed what will be on there.
