I dont know for whatever reason, bolt.new is so broke right now, its create a terible design for the same prompt that I used to send it, the design look like a beginner trying to learn HTML and CSS eventhough I have change and elaborate the prompt dozen of time, I feel so upset with bolt, its look like a scam to me
Hey @haiphongaiagency post a few prompts you are trying and model you are using. I can try on my end but might take me a few hours to get back to you.
I am try to share to people my experience with bolt.new , not ottodev
I see, my misunderstanding
This has happened to me with oTToDev. I assumed it’s normal with this fork. Am I wrong in assuming that?
I’ve never seen this happen on Bolt.new though.
I’d heard that Bolt usually produced nice looking stuff, but when I tried it, the default was quite plain.
I just tell it to follow the designs of a mainstream site that it’s likely to know.
This problem should also go away soon once the image upload comes through… You can then just give it a reference image from dribbble and you’ll be good to go.
Yeah the main thing here is a lot of times you just need to give at least a small idea of the kind of styling you want and it will go a long way!
Smaller LLMs tend to miss out on styling sometimes too, and they sometimes hallucinate bad Tailwind config so your CSS doesn’t actually come through.
I’m guessing they may be toying with the augmented prompt that gets included in the SB project, that’s generally responsible for the “beauty” requirement in the commercial Bolt system. Could be trying to abstract those out as templates or something.
