I’ve been exploring bolt.diy for a few days and having a lot of fun with it so far. As a regular Discord user, I thought it would be great to set up a (community) Discord server for it. Hopefully, sharing the link here is allowed— if not, please let me know, and I’ll gladly remove it!
I think if there is an discord server with the name bolt.diy Community, it should be maintained by the Core/Contributor-Team, so it relies on this community and the git project as well.
We also discussed it shortly in our meeting today and we are not sure, if it is good to have an addional channel.
So we got
This community here
Github
Discord
so maybe to much options and systems to look at.
As described above I dont like the idea to have an server called like that, which indicates that it is maintained and supportet bei the maintainers of the project, if it isnt.
I understand your perspective, which is why I specifically named the server “bolt.diy community” — to make it clear that it’s not affiliated with the core team.
I believe Discord is a very important platform. Personally, I prefer it over Discourse because I’m much more familiar with it and appreciate the convenience of its user interface.
I see your point, but as bolt.diy is likely already the “community” of bolt.new and you doing then a community of bolt.diy, can be confusing and is not clear, that it is not the official bolt.diy
