Archon Setup: but chat is not working : (

When I try to use chat I get this error : This app has encountered an error. The original error message is redacted to prevent data leaks. Full error details have been recorded in the logs (if you’re on Streamlit Cloud, click on ‘Manage app’ in the lower right of your app).

Sorry you’re running into this! Could you check the terminal/container where you started the Streamlit UI? The error message there will tell you exactly what is going on.

I’m running into the following error when running the v1-single-agent. I’m trying to use openrouter and have provided a new base url but it seems that It’s trying to use the openai base url by default?

pydantic_ai.exceptions.ModelHTTPError: status_code: 401, model_name: openai/o3-mini, body: {'message': 'Incorrect API key provided:
sk-or-v1*************************************************************805f.
You can find your API key at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys.', 'type': 'invalid_request_error', 'param': None, 'code': 'invalid_api_key'}```

Never-mind! Was able to get it to run after changing pydantic_ai_coder.py to include the following and include the values in the .env file within the v1-single-agent subfolder

model = OpenAIModel (
    api_key = os.getenv("OEPNAI_API_KEY"),
    base_url = os.getenv ("BASE_URL"),
    model_name = os.getenv("LLM_MODEL")

)

So I had an issue the first time! not being able crawling the Meta Data properly, that was because I had the model name wrong, these are the settings for the models I have set I wanted to keep it as simple as possible first, but on another note can I use Claude as well?: REASONER_MODEL
The LLM you want to use for the reasoner

Enter REASONER_MODEL:

o3-mini-2025-01-31
PRIMARY_MODEL
The LLM you want to use for the primary agent/coder

Enter PRIMARY_MODEL:

gpt-4o-mini
EMBEDDING_MODEL
Embedding model you want to use

Enter EMBEDDING_MODEL:

text-embedding-3-small

Hey Cole,

I wanted to express my gratitude for your excellent work on the Archon agent. After troubleshooting, I discovered that an inactive agent container was causing issues. Removing it, verifying my variables, and restarting the agent resolved the problem.

I’m eager to follow your progress with Archon and hope to contribute in the future. I have developed some IDE Agentic IDE concepts through extensive research with OpenAI prompts. I believe sharing these ideas could be beneficial. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to discuss how my thoughts on Agentic IDE can be enhanced., I have a full concept, I have spent 3 months researching and trying validate, love input there ideas at this point and it would have to be a community project to get it done.

Thank you once again for your dedication and hard work.

Cheers

Dan
