Hi All,
I’m an older non-coding IT guy (when I actually did hands-on work I did systems and networking) now building a new business solution at my work with Python and Postgres. In the last few months I’ve built a pretty remarkable logistics system envisioned to be part of a modular, custom-made CMMS System entirely with the coding help of ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools.
With the incredible progress I’ve made I envision setting up a swarm of agents that can ensure my design requirements are enforced, accessing my postgres database directly to verify database schema, and a host of other requirements which eat up my context right now. All this while OttoDev as a frontend to allow me to coordinate and design the solution I need, installed on my own Proxmox monster box with plenty of its own GPU, CPU, memory, storage and other resources for whatever I may want to build.
Granted, in this realm of IT I barely know what I’m doing (ok well maybe I know a little more than that but I’m no developer obviously). But this is a very rough idea of how I want to use OttoDev in the future.
Cheers,
Greg Lamberson
