Welcome @ohenebamikie.
Do you see an error in the terminal/shell where you run bolt itself?
It’s an issue with your API Keys. Did you set them up in the .env.local
and confirm that the endpoints were working?
@leex279 , @aliasfox No error in the CMD, but i saw a work around. Its related to activating billing for the API’s i am using.
a follow up question. Which of Google’s API is CALLED THE generative AI…is it vertex?
Test out the free providers like HuggingFace, Google Studio Gemini exp-1210, ChatGPT 4o through Azure (GitHub), etc. Get a feel for things first and then consider dropping some cash for a dedicated commercial option like Anthropic, Goggle, ChatGPT, etc.
I personally use Openrouter a bit as it’s more of a marketplace for compute, driving down the cost. For example, Llama 3.3 70B Instruct costs less than 20¢ per Million Tokens.
And I’m sorry but I have no idea what you mean in your follow up question. Maybe Google Studio (API platform) or Gemini (their commercial AI)?
I mean, when you check the ENV file there is one of the Api called Google Generative API keys…. Since there are a lot of AI from Google I wanted to know which one are they referring to as the Google Generative API
Its the one directly from google. Just click “Get API Key” and you are there:
I’ve been strugling with this same issue for a couple of days now.
I’ve credits in OpenAI API and DeepSeek, neither work. Terminal keeps displaying “WARN Constants Failed to get Ollama models: fetch failed” even though I have deactivated Ollama from the settings, and have never added a link or key to it.
I’ve tried both, just setting the API key manually at the chat, or updating the .env file to include them. Nothing works. Can anyone help me figure this out?
Welcome @yendi,
can you please open a seperate topic for your case in [bolt.diy] Issues and Troubleshooting
