in the base url in setting tab and check if the debug window shows it running

On a Mac or Linux machine, it will tell you to check if /usr/local/bin is in your $PATH.
The instructions are only for Linux/Mac and I believe this is just for getting git
working.
@ColeMedin those docs are maybe a little misleading though, being how verbose they are. Should probably spit up instructions for Windows, WSL, Linux, and Mac at this point to improve clarity.
I find most of the issues people end up having is from over complicating or adding unnecessary steps when following the instructions.
I think this is the same on Windows, but I would have to confirm with a clean install.
